I'm losing sight of the things I've done to make you smile so wide I'm getting tired of the unfamiliar faces that I find In the place of the way love would ripple through your nose and out your eyes In the place of the way love would trickle down your hands and into mine I'm losing sight of the way I was before I learned to lie I'm making light of the things I've done to push my friends aside It's a weight-loss It's the way lust will seep into my blood from time to time It's the way trust escapes us now Is it too late to say I'm sorry for the things I stole Am I too late to save the ones I love From giving up on the things that make us whole If saying no is all it takes to make this last I don't mind I'll forget I ever saw you this time. If letting go is all it takes to make this pass I don't mind I'll forget I ever saw you I'm losing sight of the lines we drew to bridge the Great Divide. Still, still you grow to fill the room with stories of your own How they've left you suspended between your words and what you wanted to hear.

Godless 04:33
Tear me apart for science Take what's good and throw out the rest I'm on a search for the righteous and I can't find any in me Tell me there's someone who loves me and that this is all part of His plan The Bible's got a hook in you, baby and it won't stop. It's reeling in. Does it make you tremble? Does it bring you down to your knees when you quake Those who speak the loudest Never say a goddamn thing in the world. (Can you see straight through me?) We pacify and bide our time Until the day we close our eyes We use this life to pay a price Put on our heads before we're made Grace is a funny thing when no one else can hear you. Pray. I wonder... Can you see straight through the crooked lens God gives you? Can you see straight through to find the good in me?

Breathe Out 05:01
Babe I hear you whispering and I am listening for signs of a smile in your lies. Is it fake? I'm just wondering aloud How you're the enemy now. Who changed? Let this ring pull you closer and remind you Of the circles that we have run. Let it breathe, like resolutions that will bind you and find you home. Play Unconscious fingertips now So lost inside of ourselves Relapse and see me Let imposters win you over and deny you Every moment that we have had. You will breathe into creatures that define you and find you home.

Doubt 02:40
Shepherd will you will my soul to safety? Consider what's embedded in my heart. Burnt alive for holding blind the sculptures that create me, If not for just one fragment of your grace.
5.
Only Sleep 04:57
Your aimless eyes reflect the color in mine and remind me of the health we've wasted. Hold me tight. Let's make the best of our time. Remind me of the luck I've tasted. It makes my stomach smile It rests my bones I haven't felt this well in a long while Come back and feel the love we found when we were young. Come back, I know you must be there. There's a little more light in the eyes of the nurses that check on your vital signs Come back, I know you must be there. Don't trust the lines graphing the thoughts in your mind. Machines can't tell us what you're thinking. And your aimless eyes stare up at the ceiling at night In that catatonic way you used to pray to God. They're holding gasoline and matches to your throat. You told me everything would be all right. Come back and feel the love.

Decay 05:25
Hope is the only answer to our prayers And I'm sick of praying you'll come back to life If I was only saying what you wanted to hear, Then I wouldn't say a word to anyone. As we lie awake We count our blessings and give our dreams unto the flames. Faking martyr, We need your guidance, but never would you ask the same. I felt your words I felt them burn Before they even reached my ears. We're wide awake and watching you As you fake every word that we believe. Love curled up and burned away Finally that rainy day Both our bodies did decay In the lust of gravity As we stand alone, We give up nothing and feel our passions in our bones. We will fall in love With the world we own.

about

This album was recorded by Mickey Postilion (vocals, guitars, keys, programming), John Anderson (vocals, guitars, programming), Joey Glassman (drums, percussion), and Thomas Miller (bass guitar, percussion, backing vocals) - members of the band "Life in a Glass House," which has sadly been disbanded.

It will be supported by Mickey and John, along with Dustin Daams, Joe Humphreys, and Ben Hatch (who have adopted these songs) as the band New Leverage.

We hope this music will accurately represent how much we all love where we came from, and how excited we are to experience where we are going.
